Overview
This course provides an introduction to ergonomics in the workplace. It covers manual handling, furniture, lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation, office space and the use of monitors (computer monitors and other instruments) in the workplace. At the end of the course participants will be able to:
• Understand basic concepts in ergonomics
• Conduct workplace survey to check workstation design and organization
• Provide awareness on ergonomics and ergonomic issues to staff in the workplace.
